    Kia ora Karen

there many positives in the new proposals. Two thoughts...

    1.   Currently the seeds of a bidding discussion are hidden in a subheading of the forum link. With a limited number of posts there is the feeling most members are unaware that it exists.  Well done to Scott Smith and Stanley Abrahams -and others- for their promotion and contributions.

Could this feature be fully promoted in clubs and/or given a clear and separate link as per the ABF site? A prominent, separate bidding problem link with suggested answers from local experts - or Richard wink  will partly make up for the very popular master solvers and bidding challenge series in magazines past.

    2.   Very topical?  We so need a feedback link where the Exec seek opinions from affected members.  Look at the prominence this key ABF website link has in Australia with opinions regularly sought on major decisions incl trials/tournament formats -with a promise that submissions will be considered. Our lack of co-ordinated feedback is in contrast to many national bodies. (I may well be wrong but I think the last public online poll -excl Congress-was on our I/Ps and despite many calls the results were never released.)   This comment box opportunity is a promising step towards creating such a link. Thanks Karen.

    Kind regards

Why does the detailed list of masterpoints only show the last month?

It used to show from the beginning of the previous year.

Even if you select an earlier date, it still flips back to the last month.

    To Grant

Great suggestions Grant, and my humble apologies for not responded to this earlier.  Will look into this, now the website is becoming a hub for many things.

    Hi John

Yes we found a small glitch that will be addressed re the Masterpoint search.  You should be able to enter an earlier date in the Date From field and search wider than the month it defaults to.  For some reason it does not do that, so is a bug that has been logged with the developers.  Hopefully we can give you an update when fixed

    Cheers

    Hi Karen

Thanks for all your work on the website, much appreciated.

    A couple of suggestions:

    -  the "path" in the Forums area is deficient, it only goes to "Home >> My NZB >> Forums", when it should have another level to reflect the forum you are in, e.g. "Home >> My NZB >> Forums >> Directing".

    -  it would probably be better to have the "post a comment" box at the end of the thread, not after the last posting.

    Thanks

    Dean

    Hi Dean

Have a look now.  Is this what you were thinking ?  I have doubled-up on the New process and cannot find a way to remove it, but will fix when I can (Not as simple as you think on this website !)

    Hi Karen

I see there's an addition to the drop-down menu which I think you've just done?  Which is good but not what I was referring to.

Just below the menu bar is a "breadcrumb" list --  "Home >> My NZB >> Forums" ... for this particular forum the "breadcrumb" list should be "Home >> My NZB >> Forums >> NZB Website Improvements".

    https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/03/breadcrumbs-in-web-design-examples-and-best-practices/

If you could move the "post a comment" box to below the last post that would be good, too - it would encourage people to read the previous posts I think :)

    Thanks again

    Dean

Will talk to the Website people as this is not within my Admin rights, but I do understand (I think) what you mean
