single hand records

Maybe this should be in the "technology" section...but

I'm sure some teachers here would have found an answer to my requirement, which is:

How can one extract a single board from a file of hand records (complete with makeables etc) in a form in which it can be inserted into a Word file?

That is to replicate what is done in the booklet which comes with the NZ-Wide Pairs for example

It will need to be explained in a way someone not very techno-savvy can understand undecided

thanks

    Hi Nick

Quick and Dirty solution.  You can do a PrintScreen and paste.

View the hand on the screen.   Hold down the Alt-key and type the PrtScrn key.

Now go to your Word document and Paste (CTRL-V).   Then Crop the image.

    Hope this helps.

I use an app called Bridge Composer.  I input boards from a session in pbn format (but I think it handles other file types as well), delete the boards I don't want, DDA the residual.  Contract, making or not, opening lead etc can all be included with the pbn or u can input.  Space is available for hand commentary.  That all can be displayed on projector. For printing I can then convert the pbn to, usually, pdf, but I assume Word can be done as well.
