Lesson Update - Feb 2019
Contrary to what people think, the Teacher's group has been working hard on the Lesson material. This week, they reviewed all lessons and tweaked some notes here and there. They also made some changes to a couple of errors identified by Teachers. This group is always happy for feedback on the notes and hands provided.
If your club is teaching Acol, we encourage you always get the notes from the website. Please do not use copies of old notes you may hold on your PC, as they will be out of date.
A plan for more Intermediate Lessons has now been drafted and listed on the website. Intermediate Lessons 1 to 5 are mostly completed and the group has started on the new list of lessons.

Hi Karen,
I find it very frustrating that the Sky Bridge NZB Lessons on line have gone. The link still remains on NZBridge Beginner Lessons. It doesn't work and as far as I can see they no longer exist in Sky Bridge, There is an alternative set of videos from Tina McVeigh on YouTube but no means for beginners from a small club to replay and understand these hand.
It is good to see LIN files for BBO available but they do NOT serve the same purpose. It requires a teacher and 3 other players all available at the same time. They also need to learn their way around BBO which is a bit much to ask for many older absolute beginners. I had jest started a small group this week with the expectation they could work at their own pace on Sky Bridge.
It is difficult enough for small clubs to retain beginners. Is there any means of getting these back or a similar alternative where an individual can play the lesson hans as often as they require ?

Hi Beth
I agree and this was only bought to my attention recently. I emailed the owner of SkyBridge and not had an answer. I suspect because this is a commercial venture, they no longer wish to support NZB. The original owner provided this service to us free of charge to support bridge. Maybe also there have been issues as the hands do change from time to time, after we get feedback from Bridge Teachers.
Cheers
Karen
