The New Zealand Bridge Foundation was established on the 7th September, 2009 and is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation. The Trustees and Secretary/Treasurer work for the Foundation as volunteers and are keen Bridge players who want to ensure our funds are well managed and growing in order to support many aspects of the game.
Vision
Enriching the lives of New Zealanders through playing a mind sport.
Mission
To support bridge players, volunteers, teachers and coaches at all levels; from encouraging more young people to learn the game through to the care and support of our senior citizens.

Givealittle Page
The NZ Bridge Foundation actively supports our top bridge players to compete internationally, a contribution towards their costs. Unlike other countries where elite play is fully funded, our players have to fund most of their expenses out of their own pockets. If you would like to support our elite players on the world stage with a financial contribution, you can do that here.: https://givealittle.co.nz/org/nz-bridge-foundation
Loveblock NZ Wide Pairs
The New Zealand Wide Pairs has been a regular feature of our tournament calendar since 1998. It is a nationwide competition run through the clubs and is designed as a fund raiser for The Foundation. In 2022 Loveblock Wines joined as a sponsor, supporting overall and category winners.
The Loveblock NZ Wide Pairs 2025 has been set down for Friday 17th October. It has moved because of the change to the date
of the National Bridge Congress.
