NZ CONGRESS – NEW VENUE FOR 2025
We are excited to announce a new venue for 2025 for our premier event, the NZ Bridge Congress.

Change of date: 8 - 15 November 2025. To be held in November from 2025. Outside school holidays to reduce travel and accommodation costs, reduced clashes with international events and away from other long weekends.
With the unavailability of the existing venue for 2025 and following feedback from participants, we embarked on a search for an alternative venue over the past 6 months. The Palmy Conference Centre ticked all our requirements on our wish list, and we are confident that we will deliver an excellent event which will provide a great playing experience for those attending.
· Great playing venue where NZ Bridge will have the whole building including separate areas for seminars, team finals, bar and breakout areas.
· Good amenities include toilets, lift, AC and AV equipment.
· Onsite catering includes free tea, coffee and water.
· In the heart of Palmerston North. Close to cafes and restaurants.
· Free parking provided for participants.
· Several hotels within walking distance: Copthorne, Distinction, Quality Suites and a new Wyndham hotel on the square opening early 2025. Many other motel accommodation options are close to the venue.
· Cost effective and with the opportunity to seek Council funding and support to run our event.
· Direct flights from Auckland and Christchurch and Nelson (Origin Air).
· Centrally located within the lower North Island - 90 minutes from Wellington with options to travel by train or bus to Palmerston North.
We look forward to providing further updates and seeing you at the 2024 event in Mt Maunganui.
